RadioAirplay Review

Song: I'm Your Bandit

Overall Impression: Chris Loid and Green Light Polly "I'm Your Bandit". Great tune for the "summertime" Exuding confidence hanging out with your "Summertime Sally" to just shoot the breeze on a lazy day. Gather friends to do fun simmer activities to which you look forward. With many people involved in stay-cations, you take part in local events, parks, and any other safe groupings. Summertime equals unfettered, outrageous amusement. "I'm Your Bandit" ties the curious girl to "bad" boy in getting involved in these groupings. You will be reminded of this scenario every time you listen.

Strongest Point(s): Great choice in instrumentation (violin, electric guitar and bass, banjo, drums). Violin licks are standard open strings with harmonized fingered notes, but done by a skilled player expressively (of course :) ). Nice arrangement of vocals and vocal ensemble! excellent in embedding hip hop (rap section;2:25-2:28) into the country. The transitions are amazingly seamless (1:03-1:08; 1:57-2:03) and the ad libs. Clean ending with a slight fade. Lyrics are just pure fun. Well constructed song!

Target Audience Appeal: Country Americana; Alternative Country; Film/TV (Advertisements); emotions---extreme happiness, giddiness, excitement, togetherness, mischievous.

Artist target suggestions: Alan Jackson, Billy Currington, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, George Strait, Jake Owen, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Merle Haggard, Randy Houser, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Waylon Jennings

About the Reviewer: Ptotia Furlow, classically trained violinist, is an educator and mentor who shares her knowledge while guiding youth in honing their skills in composition, performance, and other creative skills.
